Most earrings give you one look. These give you three. Monarch is built in two parts, a pavé stud and a larger open wing, that come apart and go back together in different arrangements, so a single pair covers a quiet everyday stud, a soft off-center flutter, and a full spread-wing statement.
And it all runs off one standard piercing. No second hole, no cuff, no clip fighting your ear. Just a stud that goes through and a wing that sits behind it.
Three looks, one pair
1. The stud, on its own.
Wear just the small pavé wing as a delicate everyday stud. This is the version for work, for a busy day, for when you want a little shine and nothing more.
2. The off-center flutter.
Add the larger wing at an angle and the two pieces gather to one side, like a butterfly just landing. Soft, a little romantic, dressy without going all the way to statement.
3. The full butterfly.
Line both wings up and they read as one complete butterfly, wings spread across the lobe. This is the full statement, the one for the occasion, the dinner, the photos.
How it works
If the "three ways" sounds complicated, it isn't. The whole thing is two pieces.
- The small pavé wing has the post. It goes through your lobe from the front, like any stud.
- The larger open wing has a small disc on the back with a hole in it. The post slides into that disc from behind, and the wing sits snug against the back of your lobe.
- Angle the two wings however that day's look calls for, then secure the backing.
That's an ear jacket: a stud in front, a wing behind, held together by the one post through your ear. One standard lobe piercing does all of it. There's no second hole and no stretching involved.
Two finishes
Gold
A warm gold-tone frame with clear pavé crystal and soft pearl-like accents across the open wing. The warmer, more classic of the two, and the easier against ivory, cream, and warm skin tones.
Silver
A cooler silver-tone frame where the crystal reads brighter and sharper against the metal. The more modern pick, and the natural match with white and cooler tones.

Questions we get
Do I need two piercings?
No. One standard lobe piercing does all three looks. The stud goes through the front, the larger wing clips onto the post behind your ear. If you only ever wear the small stud, that's one earring in one hole; the rest is optional.
Are the stones diamonds?
No, they're pavé-set crystals. They're what keeps a piece this detailed at this price while still throwing light the way pavé should. We'd rather say so up front.
Will the back wing fall off?
It's held on by the same post that goes through your ear, with the backing secured behind it, so it stays put through normal wear. Put it on and take it off over a table the first few times, the way you would with any piece that has small parts.
Gold or silver?
Gold is the warmer, classic choice and suits ivory, cream, and warm tones. Silver is cooler and more modern and pairs with white and cool tones. When it's a gift and you're unsure, Gold is the safer pick.
Can I sleep or shower in them?
Better not to, and with the two-part design especially, take them off before bed and before the shower so nothing works loose. See the care note below.
Taking care of them
Treat these as the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. Perfume, hairspray, lotion, chlorine, and sweat are what dull crystal and wear down any plated finish over time, so let those go on first and the earrings go on last.
Wipe them gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing, and keep the pieces together in the pouch rather than loose in a dish where the small parts can go missing. No jewelry dips, no ultrasonic cleaners, nothing abrasive near the crystals or the pearl-like beads.
